Tutt and Carroll Names and Designs Brand Identity for Ceiling Zero
This Fall the studio was brought on to determine the name and design the brand identity of Ceiling Zero.
Ceiling Zero is a new South Bend-based tech training program designed to build a stronger pool of software developers and tech professionals. The need for these skills is significant: only one out of ten computer science jobs have college grads to fill them, less than thirty percent of candidates for software developer positions meet employer requirements, and nine out of ten business owners struggle to hire technology professionals.
Founder Jeff Scott believes that the eight-week, career-focused Ceiling Zero program will empower local people to meet this local need.
This past December, a full cohort of 15 people completed the first six-week training program, gaining skills in Python, APIs and libraries, databases and SQL, command line tools, and AWS and git. Jeff plans to launch the next cohort this April at the City’s Technology Resource Center in Catalyst Two at Ignition Park.
If you are an adult seeking to advance your career, student considering a career in software development, or employer interested in hiring skilled programmers or upskilling existing employees, please visit ceiling-zero.com or email info@ceiling-zero.com for more information.
